826nyc of dave eggers fame will be hosting revenge of the book eaters, aka. the event to end all other book geek events. tickets went on sale today at noon and it's sure to sell out. beacon theater's got tiered seating, so cheapos like us should aim for the balcony as that's sure to go first!

on deck to celebrate the written word, sufjan stevens who you might know from his songs about states. little known sof fact, we saw him at the plug awards before he took on indie god status and we've gotta say - not too thrilled about boys who sing the saddest songs in the world.

we are, however, quaking in our bookworm socks for a chance to see some jon stewart standup and sarah vowell.
