since i'll be starting my five year journal next week, i thought it would be good to check out some examples. i didn't actually make it further than the first volume of american elf. james kochalka drew a comic a day for five years, mostly about his wife and then later about their baby. it's very sweet and an interesting look into the life of a fellow yeller.
he still draws one a day, which can be seen on his website. a subscription to the achieve is $1.95 a month, so if you're strapped for cash it'd be easier to pick up volumes 1 and 2 from your local library.
i've always been an avid diarist, whether it was in a lock-and-key book or a blog or whatnot. any suggestions for other personal historical accounts to look at?
