a lesson in scale

dear followers of fun,

i apologize for dropping off the face of the earth for a mere four-day weekend but as you can see, i needed to take one-on-one lessons regarding the concept of scale. i must admit, the individual attention really improved my ability to take pictures where it looks like i am crushing an object that i can never actually crush in real life. you might recognize the second set of fingers as belonging to a certain individual that we lent to china. emphasis is on lent, whether she likes to hear that or not.

these lessons happened around the kexp live from new york sessions. everything is pretty much full up if you want to attend, but they're broadcasting on 91.5 in nyc or streaming online for those people like me who think radios are for pussies. the best set of the day was pela, hands down. i recommend with the fever i normally reserve for the wrens and deserts with nutella.

it's good to have my feet on solid land again. and by good, i mean, will someone please do my human information behavior & laundry reading tonight so that i can see ghostland observatory instead?

hearts & stars forever,
your captain to the north.
