it started with james gunn, went to joss whedon and then hit pop candy. it's the "top television characters" blog post and this co-captain is ready for the challenge. i love a good character more than a fat kid loves cake.
* mal, firefly: i watched the first season of firefly in one weekend. i did not move from the couch, unless it was to pop in the next disc or grab another batch of cookies. i was sucked in by mal. now, you could say that it was because an ex of mine all but built his personality from the malcom reynolds toolbox, but i tend to think its because there's nothing more interesting to watch than a tough guy with a heart of gold.
* tim, the office (bbc): but even a bad boy loving girl falls for an average bloke from time to time. while jim halpern gets most of attention here at the spirit of fun, tim is sort of where it's at. be honest, would you wear an fm radio baseball hat to work if your mum gave it to you for your 30th birthday?
* stuart, madtv: need i say any more?
* steve, sex and the city: sometimes, you're more of a man with one ball than you are with two.
* probie / sean, rescue me: i cannot believe the shit these two get into. sounds like a metrosexual version of pea brain & brain cell to me!
* willow, buffy the vampire slayer: we're talking strictly season one. i liked her dorky and knee deep in unrequited love. i started to lose some love for her when she cheated on oz with xander (as both barely squeaked off this list themselves).
* lucille bluth, arrested development: we all need a little more lucille in our lives.
* mary tyler moore, the mary tyler moore show: there are lucid, non-feverish moments where i pause and ask myself, WWMTMD?
it's a little testosterone heavy for a favorite character list. whose your favorite televison personality?
