...and i'm addicted to furniture. i'll pull it from the trash, i'll buy it from ikea and insist on putting it together myself, i'll sit at work and drool over it online. while some girls dream of their wedding or becoming the first female president (hillary, i'm looking at you), i dream of buying a ridiculously large house and going bankrupt furnishing it.
before i can do such elaborate scheming, however, i need to get through grad school first. but how does one get through grad school without a desk? top contenders include a wicker ensemble first seen at design*sponge and the sloane leaning desk as seen in rita's apartment. do i have room for a desk in my room? no. just like i didn't have room for that glider you will most likely seem jammed in there sometime soon. i'd also considered this rosewood antique because the felt makes it seem as if you can play poker once you've finished writing your paper.
and where to store all of the expensive textbooks i'll be purchasing used? in my secret passageway bookcase! and what future school librarian's life isn't complete without a seesaw bookshelf? looks like i should spend a little less time daydreaming of wood stains and start hanging out with more carpenters and ikea employees.
